How To Change the Death Penalty on Your Abiotic Factor Server

The Death Penalty setting determines what happens to a player’s items when they die on your Abiotic Factor server.

Changing Death Penalties

1. Access the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Abiotic Factor server.
2. In the sidebar go to Startup Parameters.
3. Under Basic, find the Death Penalty setting and select your desired option.
4. Restart your server.

Option	Description
Keep All Items	Players retain all items upon death
Keep Equipped Items And Hotbar	Players keep equipped items and hotbar items
Keep Hotbar Only	Players only keep items in their hotbar
Keep Equipped Items Only	Players only keep equipped items
Lose All Items Including Hotbar	Players lose all items but items remain in the world
All Items Are Destroyed	All player items are permanently destroyed
