How To Upload An Existing Minecraft Bedrock World To Your Server

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of uploading an existing world file to your Minecraft Bedrock server.

Exporting Your World
Section titled “Exporting Your World”- Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition and click
Playto find your world list. - Click the pencil icon next to the world you want to export.
- Under
General, scroll down and selectExport World. - The game will create a
.mcworldfile, save this file to an easy-to-find location on your PC.
Preparing Your World Files
Section titled “Preparing Your World Files”- Locate your exported
.mcworldfile. - Rename your
.mcworldfile to.zip(for example,MyWorld.mcworldtoMyWorld.zip). - Right-click the
.zipfile and clickExtract All. - After extraction, you’ll see the extracted world files. Create a new folder with a recognizable name (for example,
MyWorld123). - Move all the extracted files into your newly created folder.

Uploading Your World
Section titled “Uploading Your World”- Log in to the Game Host Bros Game Panel and
Stopyour Minecraft Bedrock server. - Connect to your server using SFTP and enter the
worldsdirectory. - Upload your existing world folder (For example, MyWorld123).
- In the game panel sidebar, go to
File Managerand openserver.properties. - Find the line that says
level-name=and change it to match your uploaded world folder name:level-name=MyWorld123 - Save the file and start your server.
Once uploaded, your server files should look like this:
