How To Add Admins In Abiotic Factor

Managing player permissions—including granting administrative privileges or banning players is essential for maintaining a healthy gaming environment. Abiotic Factor uses a file called Admin.ini to handle player permissions.

Setting Yourself As An Admin In Abiotic Factor

1. Access the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Abiotic Factor server.
2. In the sidebar click on Management > File Manager.
3. Navigate to the AbioticFactor/Saved/SaveGames/Server/ folder.
4. Here, find the file named Admin.ini.
5. Add a new entry on its own line in SteamID64 format. It should look like this:

   Admin.ini

   [Moderators]
   Moderator=76561198106341655

6. Restart your server.

Access the Admin Menu

After setting yourself as admin, here’s how to open the Abiotic Factor admin menu.

1. Connect to your Abiotic Factor server.
