How To Connect To Your Abiotic Factor Server

Here’s how to connect to your Abiotic Factor server; using your server IP address or server name.

Direct Connecting to Your Server Recommended

Note

By default, you will have a password for your Abiotic Factor server, this can be seen under Configuration > Startup Parameters of the game panel. After changing your password, restart the server to apply your changes.

1. Access the Game Host Bros Panel and select your server.
2. In the sidebar, go to Configuration > Startup Parameters, set a Server Password and then Restart your server.
3. Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.
4. Open Abiotic Factor, click Enter The Facility > Join A Server.
5. Click Direct Connect and then IP Address.
6. Enter your server IP address and port, then click Join.

Example: If your server IP is 198.137.23.46:7781, it should look like this:

IP: 198.137.23.46
Port: 7781

Using the In-Game Browser

Note

2. In the sidebar, go to Configuration > Startup Parameters, set a Server Name and then Restart your server.
3. Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.
4. Open Abiotic Factor, click Enter The Facility > Join A Server.
5. Enter your Server Name in the search field and click Apply.
6. Select your server and click Join.
