How To Install Mods On Your DayZ Server

Adding mods to DayZ is a great way to mix-up the gameplay and try new things, whether it’s a simple quality-of-life mod or a total overhaul, there’ll likely be something that’s perfect for you. This guide will cover where to find and add mods to your DayZ server.

Finding DayZ Mods

Browse the Steam Workshop and Subscribe to the mods you want to add.

Exporting Your DayZ Modlist

  1. Open DayZ
  2. In the launcher click Mods.
  3. Select More > Export list of mods to a file.
  4. Choose Only Loaded or All Mods.

Installing Mods To Your DayZ Server

Now that you’ve exported your modlist, here’s how to install these mods on your server.

  1. Access the Game Host Bros Game Panel and select your DayZ Server.
  2. Go to Management > File Manager.
  3. Upload your exported modlist.html.
  4. Start your server.

The mods will automatically update, download and enable once your server starts, users can download these mods while connecting to your server.
