How to Force Gamemode on Your Minecraft Server

Force gamemode automatically sets joining players to your server’s default gamemode and prevents them from changing it - useful for stopping cheating on survival servers. This is what you do if you want to force all players to use a specific gamemode on your Minecraft server.

Forcing Gamemode

1. Access the Game Host Bros panel and stop your Minecraft server.
2. Go to Management > File Manager.
3. Open server.properties, set force-gamemode= to true, and then click save.
4. Start your server.

Tip

When force-gamemode=true is enabled, all players will automatically be set to the gamemode specified by the gamemode= setting when they join your server.
